Driver who caused accident with three fatalities arrested in Moscow
It has become known about the measures taken against the suspect who caused a fatal accident in the capital last week.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested after representatives of the Western Administrative District Prosecutor's Office petitioned for such a decision.
RIA Novosti reports this with reference to a statement made by the department.
The 27-year-old defendant became a defendant in a case under the article on causing death by negligence. The deaths were caused by a violation of traffic rules due to driving a car while intoxicated.
Circumstances of the case
The accident, which claimed the lives of three people, occurred on Friday evening on Michurinsky Prospekt in Moscow.
A Ford passenger car crashed into a taxi, killing the taxi driver and his two passengers.
Subsequently, after a medical examination, the prosecutor's office established that the person responsible for the accident was in a state of alcohol and drug intoxication.
