Doctors from Moscow Region Removed a 10-Centimeter Stone from a Patient's Bladder

Doctors performed an operation on a man to remove a huge stone from his bladder. The Moscow Agency reports details, citing the press service of the regional health ministry and the head of the urology department, Alexander Lyubimov.

It is noted that an elderly man was admitted to the urology department of branch No. 2 of the Balashikha hospital. He was bothered by pain when urinating.

According to the press service, the man had urolithiasis. A number of symptoms indicated it: blood in the urine, pain in the lower abdomen, false urge to urinate.

It was also noted that after being admitted to the institution, the patient was examined, as a result of which a stone was found in the bladder. The size of the stone was 10 cm.

According to Lyubimov, doctors had to resort to surgery. It lasted for 30 minutes.

It is added that the patient is currently feeling well. He has been discharged.
