Doctors from Moscow Region Remove Live Fly from Man's Nose
Every day in the Moscow region there are situations that require the participation of doctors.
Sometimes situations turn out to be extraordinary, and therefore cause surprise.
Doctors helped a man who had a live fly in his nose. The Moscow Agency reports details, citing the press service of the Moscow Region Health Ministry and otolaryngologist Raul Ten.
It is noted that a 51-year-old patient was admitted to the Vidnovskaya hospital. He began to complain of swelling of the left nostril and discomfort in the nose.
According to the press service, the man said that a fly accidentally flew into his nose. He tried to blow the insect out, but his attempts were in vain.
They also noted that the man soon went to see a doctor. There, specialists conducted an examination, as a result of which they discovered a foreign body in the nose.
Ten clarified that doctors removed the fly using a special instrument.
According to the ministry, inaction could have led to inflammation, but this was avoided. The man is now feeling well. He was discharged.
