Contract double murder prevented in Moscow
Moscow police have detained a man who was ready to pay for a double murder.
Details were reported on the Telegram channel of the capital's Investigative Committee of Russia.
It all started on December 31, 2023. Then the detainee asked an acquaintance to find a person capable of killing two men.
The suspect offered $20,000 for the search. The detainee was ready to pay the performer $80,000.
But the acquaintance went to the police. Law enforcement officers carried out an operation that lasted until July 2024.
During this time, all the information and evidence base was collected. The customer even transferred $5 thousand to purchase the murder weapon.
The final stage was a staging of the crime with a photo report. The customer believed it, transferred the money and was subsequently arrested.
An attempt on two people was prevented. The court sent the customer to custody. An investigation is underway as part of a criminal case.
