During the work, specialists found valuable items from the 19th century that were used by wealthy citizens of that period. The details are reported on the official website of the Moscow mayor, citing the head of the Moscow City Heritage Department, Alexey Yemelyanov.

It is noted that the place where the finds were discovered was the area of 4th Krutitsky Lane.

According to Yemelyanov, experts found a 19th-century porcelain saucer in the shape of crossed swords. In the old days, such utensils decorated noble houses.

He noted that among the finds was a lid from Dr. Schweikert's lipstick jar from Ferrein's pharmacy. It is valuable not only for the material and the technique of its creation, but also for the personality of the doctor who sold it.

Julius Schweikert was a doctor of medicine at the Moscow and Leipzig universities. He was involved in the creation of various medicines, one of which could be stored in a pomade jar.
