The number of applications submitted by applicants to colleges in the Russian capital amounted to over 125 thousand. Details were reported by TASS with reference to Deputy Mayor of Moscow Anastasia Rakova.
It is noted that the current year has pleased with a large number of budget places in areas that are in demand. For ninth-graders, the number of such places has increased by 10 thousand.
According to Rakova, Moscow colleges have now become modern places where students can gain knowledge and experience.
She noted that work is currently underway to modernize training programs and improve the material and technical base.
It is added that the admission campaign will end soon. The opportunity to choose a college this year remains until August 15. For specialties with additional entrance examinations, the end of admission will occur on August 10.
