A pack of dogs almost tore a five-year-old boy to pieces in the Moscow region

A pack of stray dogs bit a 5-year-old boy near his house in Shatura.

The child was hospitalized, the press service of the Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office reported on its Telegram channel.

The incident occurred on July 5 in the city of Shatura on Ilyicha Avenue, 34. Here, several stray dogs attacked a child.

The boy was rescued from the clutches of the aggressive animals. He was hospitalized. Doctors diagnosed multiple bites on his body.

The child is in hospital. His life is not in danger now.

Meanwhile, a criminal case was opened regarding the negligence of those responsible for catching stray dogs.

The investigation is being supervised by the Shatura City Prosecutor's Office.

Law enforcement officers will not only check the work of the competent service, but will also assess the parents’ fulfillment of their responsibilities in raising the child.

The boy was without adult supervision at the time of the dog attack, the prosecutor's office emphasizes.

Earlier, a schoolboy hit a journalist who was filming a report on traffic violations by teenagers in the Moscow region.
