87-year-old man beaten on Moscow bus for talking about Wagner PMC

The capital's police have brought to justice the men who used force against an elderly Russian man.

They didn’t like what the pensioner said about the Wagner PMC.

This was followed by a reaction from the police, RIA Novosti reports. A criminal case was opened against the men. They are charged with hooliganism.

The incident became widely known after messages in Telegram channels. Eyewitnesses filmed the incident that took place on a capital bus and distributed it online.

The video footage shows two men using obscene language and forcibly dragging the pensioner outside. They were enraged by a phrase allegedly said by the Muscovite to the Wagner PMC.

They twisted the pensioner's arms and invited him "to Lubyanka." The incident took place on bus #528 on Friday, August 9.

Now the law enforcement officers will sort out the situation. The victim has already secured the help of a lawyer.
