21 Migrants Face Deportation After Searches in Hostels in Moscow and Moscow Region

It has become known what measures may be taken against migrants in Moscow.

Following searches conducted in the capital and the Moscow region, more than 20 foreigners are now subject to deportation.

Representatives of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moscow reported this to RIA Novosti journalists.

Earlier it was reported that searches were conducted in several hostels located in Moscow and the Moscow region.

It turned out that as a result of the inspection, law enforcement officers identified several violations of legislation concerning migrants.

Three naturalized citizens were identified who violated the law by failing to register for military service.

In addition, law enforcement officials reported 21 citizens who violated the rules of entry or stay in the territory of the Russian Federation. For this, migrants may face a fine and deportation from the country.

Following the raid, the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow, Vladimir Vasenin, emphasized that law enforcement officers will continue to work to identify violations committed by migrants.
