Laminate flooring can creak for a number of reasons.
The creaking sound is caused by poor quality of the material, the level of humidity in the room, and poor installation.
However, it is possible to get rid of the creaking of the floor covering without having to dismantle it.
Firstly, treating the laminate locks with paraffin or silicone can help. These materials are simply applied to problem areas.
Treating seams with WD spray has the same effect.
PVA glue and mounting foam help in the fight against creaking. In order to eliminate the problems, it is enough to fill the joints with one of the above-mentioned materials and wait until it dries completely.
If the creaking is caused by the floorboards being pressed through, then screwing screws into the laminate will help.
And if the problem is that when laying the flooring you forgot to leave a gap between it and the wall, then you should simply trim the floorboards with a grinder.
