In any situation, you will have to open the door of the washing machine until the repairman arrives. There are several ways to open the door.
While one of the washing modes is activated, the door will be tightly closed. This function comes from the manufacturer and is needed to protect the owner from water getting on the floor and breaking the drum.
The door block is removed after the washing mode time has expired. But sometimes it happens that the door does not want to open.
Pull out of the socket
If there is some kind of malfunction and the door does not open, you can simply try to pull the washing machine cord out of the socket, wait a couple of minutes, and then turn it on again.
If the door does not open, you can try to switch the machine to one of the fastest modes and press the button. When the time is up, the door should open.
Use a cord
This method can be used if it is known for sure that the hatch did not open because the handle was broken. To pull out the things, you need a long cord.
The cord is pulled between the hatch and the side of the washing machine along the entire diameter. Then you just need to sharply pull both ends towards you. This will help open the door.
Emergency opening
Many washing machines have a special cable to open the hatch.
It is usually located at the bottom panel level. You need to find this cable and pull it. The washing machine hatch will open.
