Vinegar has a number of benefits that make it an ideal floor cleaner.
Firstly, it is a natural and environmentally friendly product that does not contain any harmful chemicals.
Secondly, vinegar has excellent properties for dissolving dirt, grease and neutralizing unpleasant odors.
Vinegar is ideal for cleaning types of flooring such as linoleum, vinyl tiles, laminate and ceramic tiles.
However, it is worth remembering that it should not be used on stone floors such as sandstone, slate, granite or marble as it may damage their surface.
To prepare the solution, take a bucket, add 1 glass of table vinegar and pour in 5 liters of warm water.
If you want to give your floor a shine, add a few drops of vegetable oil. However, do not overdo it with oil, otherwise you will have to wash the floor with soap.
To remove the vinegar smell from the solution, add a few drops of lemon or lavender essential oil.
However, if you have pets, you should refrain from adding essential oils.
If the floor is very dirty, add a few teaspoons of liquid soap to the solution.
Before applying the solution to the floor, be sure to wipe the surface to remove excess dirt and debris. Then dip a cloth into the solution and wash the floor.
If you have a wooden floor, it is better to use a sprayer to spray the solution. In case of linoleum, just wipe the floor with a rag.
As a result, your floor will be clean and shiny. If there are traces of soap left, it is recommended to wipe them with a cloth soaked in plain water.
