Specialists from the Khimki Regional Hospital gave recommendations to summer residents on how to fill their first aid kits.

In anticipation of the summer season, summer residents were reminded of what should be in a first aid kit to stay safe during their vacation.

In an interview with Radio 1, doctors shared a list of components that are recommended to be kept in a first aid kit.

  1. Antiseptic solutions: hydrogen peroxide, miramistin or chlorhexidine. The preparations will help treat wounds from infections.
  2. Iodine solution or brilliant green: effective antiseptics for cuts and wounds.
  3. Sterile bandage, tourniquet and cotton wool: dressings for wounds are necessary to protect them from external influences.
  4. Tweezers will also be useful if you need to remove foreign objects from the wound.
  5. Painkillers and antihistamines can help with pain and allergies.
  6. Eye drops are needed in case of foreign objects getting into the eyes, to relieve symptoms.

In addition to the listed medications, doctors recommend taking mosquito and tick repellents to the dacha, as well as medications that need to be taken on a regular basis.
