Sometimes housewives pour boiling water into the kitchen sink.
However, in some cases, such actions can lead to unpleasant consequences.
In particular, this depends on the pipeline material.
Metal pipes can withstand quite high temperatures.
But the effect of boiling water on the condition of PVC pipes will not have the best effect.
If you pour too much hot water into your sink too often, it can damage the pipes.
The boiling water can cause the pipe connections to soften or even melt. As a result, they will start leaking and become unusable.
Therefore, this method should definitely not be used to clear blockages in pipes.
You can deal with the blockage using soda and salt.
You need to mix half a mug of salt and a whole mug of soda. Dissolve this mixture in water and pour it into the pipes.
Afterwards, you need to turn on a strong stream of hot water. You can also use citric acid instead of soda. This remedy will be no less effective.
Just remember that plastic silicone is contraindicated for exposure to high temperatures.
You can remove the blockage using soda and vinegar. You need to pour a pack of soda into the drain. Then pour one glass of vinegar there.
Close the drain and leave for 30 minutes. After that, rinse everything with warm water.
You can also use special store-bought products. They can be gel, dry or liquid.
