Sweat stains are not easy to remove with regular washing.

However, yellow stains under the arms, especially noticeable on light-colored clothing, can be successfully removed with home remedies. Lemon juice, vinegar, and toothpaste will come in handy.

Yellow spots under the armpits look very unsightly and are the scourge of many people, especially in the summer.

High temperatures make us sweat faster, and we use odor-suppressing deodorants more often.

Underarm stains on clothing are caused by a combination of sweat and antiperspirant ingredients, particularly aluminum salts.

The resulting plaque is often resistant to conventional cleaning agents.

Instead of soaking your clothes in various detergents for hours, try more effective home remedies. You will save time and nerves, and unsightly stains from your favorite clothes will quickly disappear.

Lemon juice – acts as a natural bleach

One of the best ways to remove yellow stains and restore your clothes to their original appearance is lemon juice. Due to its properties, it acts as a natural bleach.

However, remember that you cannot pour it directly onto clothes. Lemon juice requires dilution with water in a 1:1 ratio - apply the product prepared in this way to the stains and wait 15 minutes.

After this time, place the laundry in the washing machine and set the appropriate program. The dirt should disappear after the first wash.

Toothpaste is the best stain remover

As it turns out, toothpaste has many uses. It works as a bleach on clothes, but it's also great for removing sweat stains.

Simply apply the paste to the dirt and rub gently. As with lemon juice, wait 15 minutes and then wash in the washing machine on the appropriate program.

Remember – the paste should not contain dyes that can discolor light-colored clothing.

White vinegar

Another great way to quickly get rid of unsightly sweat stains is vinegar, the king of household cleaning products.

White vinegar is often used to combat stubborn stains. The acid it contains not only disinfects clothes, but also softens them, refreshing the color.

Vinegar will also work as a stain remover – it will quickly remove sweat residue and, in addition, protect fabrics from similar stains in the future. Just pour it on the dirt and wash it after a quarter of an hour. The clothes will be like new!
