There are few people who love getting out of bed early.
Most often, we wince when the alarm clock pulls us out of a sweet sleep and set it for later.
But if you still have to get up early, irritability cannot be avoided.
Is it possible to teach yourself to wake up early, get up without a disgruntled sniffle and start the morning with a smile? Of course it is.
Here are some tips that are worth listening to and taking on board.
Before you promise yourself to get up earlier, think: why do you personally need it?
It is clear that many people wake up in the early morning hours in order to get as many things done as possible. But maybe you want to take care of yourself in the morning, not your daily routine?
Take a shower alone, without worrying about children or your significant other knocking on the bathroom door, demanding that you leave the room; calmly drink coffee and have breakfast, without being distracted by a ton of questions; do gymnastics or yoga without outside looks and sometimes snide comments...
If you can only "snatch" such moments for yourself in the morning, then there is enough motivation for early rising.
Or come up with a pleasant morning activity for yourself. Sit with a cup of coffee on the balcony, listening to nature waking up; leisurely read a few pages of your favorite book; listen to music; make breakfast just for yourself and only from what you love, and eat it leisurely; take care of yourself while others are still asleep.
In the morning the brain is still alert and fresh, and you can fill it with the most pleasant impressions and sensations.
But even if you were planning to spend some time alone with yourself in the morning, you should start preparing for it in the evening. The benefits of various rituals that need to be performed before bed have long been talked about in order to fall asleep faster and get a good night's sleep.
Music, aroma lamp with a pleasant smell of essential oil, light and cheerful movie, the same light dinner, walk before bed - choose what helps you calm your nerves, unload your head and calmly spend the evening hours. And repeat the actions you like from evening to evening. This will be your personal ritual before bed.
Don't forget to change your alarm signal. Sharp, piercing sounds are irritating even before you've really opened your eyes, and waking up like that definitely won't put you in a good mood.
Set the alarm melody to something more pleasant, not so sharp and loud: birds chirping with gradually increasing volume, your favorite track, but not with the fastest rhythm and loud beats.
Even in a half-sleep, hearing this melody, you will smile and remember what pleasant and good thing you intended to do after getting up.
Our mood and well-being are largely influenced by the level of lighting in the house. The more light there is in the room where you wake up, the better. Therefore, after waking up, either immediately turn on the lamp or open the window curtains, letting in the sun's rays.
You can help your body wake up by drinking a glass of warm water instead of a cup of coffee first thing after getting out of bed. And let the impression from this glass be pleasant and fresh: don't drink the water in one gulp, but sip it in small sips, stretch out this pleasure.
If plain clean water seems tasteless and bland, add a little lemon juice or put some fruit pieces in a glass the night before.
Finally, you can perk up in the morning by taking a contrast shower instead of the usual warm morning shower.
If you are not a supporter of hardening, then the first few times turn on the cold water in the shower for half a minute and so that the transition from warm to cold water is very smooth.
This will already help you wake up and become a little more cheerful. And after water procedures, dry yourself off thoroughly with a towel and start doing those pleasant things that you planned.
Previously, we talked about whether you need to turn things inside out before washing .
