Many car enthusiasts think about ways to check the quality of the fuel they pour into the tank.
In fact, there are several proven life hacks on how to do this at home.
Let's figure out how to find out whether the product poured into your car's tank is of high quality or not.
First, try applying a drop of gasoline to your skin. If the fuel dries it, it is of good quality; if it leaves an oily residue, it contains diesel impurities.
Try to put a drop of gasoline on paper. If after the fuel evaporates there is a greasy trace and water, impurities are definitely present.
If you mix gasoline and potassium permanganate in a container, then the diluted gasoline will turn pinkish, but the good gasoline will not change its color.
Pour fuel onto the glass and set it on fire. If brown marks or drops remain, additives are definitely present. High-quality gasoline leaves white circles.
