Two children died from dumpling poisoning in Krasnoyarsk Krai
In Krasnoyarsk Krai, two children died due to an accident.
The cause of death of the minors was food poisoning.
The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Khakassia reported the incident on its Telegram channel.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the incident under the article on the production or sale of products whose quality does not meet safety requirements and which resulted in the death of two people.
Circumstances of the case
As the investigation revealed, a family with four children from the village of Krasnaya Sopka bought chicken and dumplings at a local store.
The people had eaten these products the day before, after which the six-year-old girl and the thirteen-year-old boy felt worse. The victims were admitted to the hospital with nausea and vomiting and other signs of food poisoning.
Unfortunately, doctors were unable to help the children, and they died in the hospital.
The rest of the family members are also in a medical facility. The condition of the parents and children aged 11 and 12 is assessed as serious.
