The Turkish biker, whom the media calls the culprit in the death of MotoTani (Tatiana Ozolina), told his version of what happened.

Onur Obut was injured in a high-profile accident in the province of Mugla (southwestern Turkey), in which a 38-year-old Russian blogger died.

The motorcyclist, born in 1995, survived and was questioned by police. He gave his version of events and was released, the DHA agency reports.

The biker said that on July 22, he, Tatyana and Sergey Khadrikov set off towards the city of Milas. Khadrikov lagged behind Obut and Ozolina a little.

At that moment, a truck wedged itself between Onur and Tatyana's bikes. Ozolina decided to overtake the truck, the Turk claims. She made a mistake while making the maneuver.

“As a result, her motorcycle crashed into Obut’s bike from behind,” the Turkish agency reports.

The Turk's version was confirmed by Khadrikov, who at that moment fell behind his companions. He stated that Ozolina had indeed made a mistake while overtaking and provoked the accident.

Police released Obut, but he is under legal control, the agency reported. The media and law enforcement officials have no video footage of the accident.
