The prosecutor's office has revealed details of the explosion in a house in Sterlitamak
The prosecutor's office has begun an investigation following a gas explosion in a residential building in Sterlitamak.
It is preliminarily known that the explosion occurred on July 2 during repair work on gas equipment.
As a result of the incident, windows and doors in residential areas and the entrance were broken and damaged.
Two gas service employees and two children were injured, a woman died, the Telegram channel of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan reports.
During the supervisory activities, the prosecutor's office will establish the circumstances and causes of the incident.
Then an assessment will be made of compliance with safety requirements during operation and repair of gas equipment.
Earlier it was reported that an explosion occurred in a house in Sterlitamak, one person died.
