Investigators have revealed details of the case of former Moscow government member Alexander Kibovsky.

The 50-year-old former official was detained on Wednesday, July 17.

According to the Russian Investigative Committee, Kibovsky received bribes in excess of 100 million rubles. The agency's press service reported this information on its Telegram channel.

It was established that the former minister of the Moscow government acted as part of an organized group.

Kibovsky received bribes and in return helped commercial organizations conclude government contracts.

The names of other members of the organized group have not yet been disclosed.

Kibovsky was charged with eight counts of bribery.

In addition, in the case of the former Moscow minister there is one episode of attempted fraud.

In 2021, Kibovsky received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. He held his post in the capital's government until September 2023.
