An important detail has come to light in the case of the poisoning of a family of six.
Details were reported by the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for Krasnoyarsk Krai and Khakassia.
The father of the poisoned family admitted that he did not properly ventilate the home after using dichlorvos, RIA Novosti reports.
The man told investigators that before the treatment, everyone went outside. Then he used dichlorvos.
The father and other family members spent two hours outside and then returned to the apartment.
There was no smell of dichlorvos, so the man decided not to ventilate the house.
At that moment, only the window was open in the apartment.
The incident occurred last week in the village of Krasnaya Sopka.
A father, mother and four children were taken to hospital with signs of food poisoning after eating dinner.
The children, aged 13, 12, 11 and 6, subsequently died. Their parents were saved.
Now experts and law enforcement officers are trying to understand what led to the tragedy.
