The exact amount of the bribe allegedly taken by former Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov has been revealed
Law enforcement officials have revealed the amount involved in the case of former Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov.
The investigation continues to establish details of the criminal activity, and new facts emerge.
The amount of the bribe that Ivanov is accused of receiving is no less than 1,185,000,000 rubles, TASS reports, citing law enforcement agencies.
This bribe was intended for the performance of actions in favor of legal entities that Ivanov helped by virtue of his official position.
Investigators established that Ivanov, other participants and unidentified persons formed a group united by common interests.
The perpetrators, starting from October 24, 2018 to December 31, 2023, personally received a bribe from the co-founder of Olimpsiststroy LLC, as well as from representatives of Oboronspetsstroy LLC.
It is noted that the bribe was in the form of rendering property services. Experts converted their value into a monetary equivalent and received more than a billion rubles.
Ivanov has been held in custody since his arrest. On June 20, the court extended his arrest until September 23.
