Multimillionaire Michael Lynch and his daughter have died in a superyacht sinking off the coast of Italy.
The bodies of the 59-year-old IT mogul, dubbed the "British Bill Gates", and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah were found in the cabin of the sunken ship.
The 56-metre yacht sank during a tornado off the coast of Sicily on August 19. The vessel, along with the bodies of the victims, ended up at a depth of 49 metres, The Daily Telegraph writes.
Divers brought the bodies of Lynch and his daughter to the surface. The death toll has reached five, and two more are still being searched for.
The Lynch family and their friends were vacationing on the sunken yacht. The reason was the businessman's victory in court. Before that, he was accused of fraud, but all charges were dropped. He managed to avoid a prison term of 25 years.
The ship was carrying lawyers and their families. Most of the people were rescued. A Dutch rescue ship was located near the wreck and came to the rescue almost immediately.
