Tens of millions of rubles stolen during major repairs of barracks in the Urals
It has become known that a large sum of money was stolen in the Urals.
Officials of the Military Construction Company may be involved in the theft of several tens of millions of rubles.
RIA Novosti journalists learned about this from the Main Military Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
It is noted that the case of theft of a large sum occurred back in 2021.
The defendants in the case, who were representatives of the Military Construction Company, were carrying out repair work as part of a state defense order they had received.
It included major repairs to military barracks located in the Sverdlovsk region.
At the same time, the contractors artificially inflated the cost of the work, which gave them the opportunity to steal several tens of millions of rubles.
It is noted that the investigation also considers the defendants in the case to be involved in fraud with the repair of a military hospital in Perm. At that time, Sukhov, Sergel and Kravchenko stole 35 million rubles, which they divided among themselves.
