Russian woman tried to poison her son who was released from prison
A 52-year-old Russian woman and her daughter tried to poison a close relative who had been released from prison.
The women devised a plan to kill the man who was their son and brother.
The incident occurred in the city of Labytnangi (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug), the regional department of the Russian Investigative Committee reported on its Telegram channel.
The man was released from prison and began living in an apartment with his mother and 26-year-old sister. He began drinking heavily and made the apartment uninhabitable.
The relatives' patience ran out in December 2023. Then they decided to poison the drunkard.
To do this, they began to mix various poisons and potent drugs into his alcohol.
In addition, the women involved an acquaintance in this matter. Under the guise of a drinking buddy, he brought the man alcohol laced with poison.
As a result, the Russian ended up in the hospital with signs of poisoning. Doctors saved him, but the women continued to poison their relative.
The Russian women and their friend were detained at the end of 2023. The investigation into this case was recently completed. The criminal cases (Articles 30 and 105) have been sent to court.
