A resident of Lipetsk found out that six migrants with children were registered in her apartment.

The Russian woman learned about this when she tried to apply for social benefits for her sick mother.

The woman told RIA Novosti that she submitted an application through the MFC in March, but was told that it was rejected.

The reason given was that foreign citizens were registered in the apartment.

After checking, it turned out that six people, including three children, were registered in the Russian woman’s apartment.

Later, the Left Bank District Court ruled that foreigners do not have the right to live in this housing and demanded that they be removed from the register.

The Russian woman also noted that registration in her home helped foreigners obtain Russian citizenship. In some documents they were listed as foreigners, and in others as citizens of the Russian Federation.

The woman is trying to bring the probable culprit of the current situation to justice.

She explained that a criminal case had been opened against the man for document forgery.
