Russia extradites woman accused of stealing money from Kyrgyzstan

The woman was extradited from Kyrgyzstan to Russia at the request of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office.

She participated in the theft of money under the pretext of replacing plumbing.

The competent authorities of Kyrgyzstan will extradite Polina Pascal to face criminal charges, the website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation reports.

She is charged under Part 2 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

The accused will be escorted to Moscow by FSIN RF officers.

The woman was suspected of participating in a criminal organization and fraud.

The investigation revealed that from September 30, 2019 to January 24, 2020, Pascal participated in a criminal organization.

She introduced herself to Moscow residents as an employee of the management company.

The woman stole money from people's apartments under the pretext of replacing or installing plumbing.

As a result of illegal actions, 196 citizens suffered. The amount stolen was more than 14 million rubles.

The Prosecutor General's Office sent a request for the extradition of the accused in May of this year.

The decision to extradite Pascal was achieved thanks to the coordinated actions of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office and the competent authorities of Kyrgyzstan.
