German radio station RBB has announced the dismissal of its host Sebastian Hotz, who is also known to the German public under the pseudonym El Hotzo.

It is explained that the presenter was removed because of a post about an assassination attempt on US presidential candidate Donald Trump.

RBB writes: "Hotz posted a post on X's social media account in which he joked that Trump, who survived the assassination attempt, was like the last bus that was missed."

In addition, the presenter lashed out at the American politician with obscene language.

Reaction of the radio station management

RBB, in turn, emphasized that the statements of her now former protégé do not reflect the values that she defends.

The radio station said it had terminated its relationship with Hotz "immediately and urgently."

The relevant information was made public, in particular, by RBB programme director Katrin Günther.

An assassination attempt on Donald Trump occurred on July 13, 2024. As a result of the incident, he received a bullet wound to the ear.
