Power suddenly went out in Primorye
More than 1.8 million Russians were left without electricity due to an accident in Primorye.
In Primorye, a power outage was recorded on the DRSK networks.
The government's message on the Telegram channel says that there was a power outage in the Far Eastern Distribution Grid Company's networks in Primorye.
The authorities explained that residents in Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Artem, Ussuriysk and other cities were left without electricity.
The power outage occurred as a result of a short circuit in the VSK network equipment. After the incident, protection was triggered on units 1, 6 and 3.
The government confirms that power can be restored within an hour.
Power engineers have now begun restarting the units.
It is reported that electricity has started to reach homes in Lesozavodsk, Dalnerechensk and Luchegorsk.
Medical facilities in the outage zone continue to operate using backup power sources.
Water supply to Primorye will be restored after electricity is supplied to the pumps.
