Policeman arrested in Dagestan in connection with death of SVO member in police station
The Makhachkala court has arrested a police officer who is suspected of involvement in the death of SVO member Akhmed Dzhabrailov.
Social activist Shamil Khadulaev reported on his Telegram channel that the patrol police officer was sent to custody for two months.
48-year-old Dzhabrailov died on the premises of the police department after being detained. The arrested police officer is suspected of involvement in his death.
In particular, the investigation materials state that the law enforcement officer exceeded his authority and used physical violence against the veteran.
The police officer used a taser and then struck and kicked the man multiple times on various parts of his body.
To top it off, the PPS officer pressed the man down on the floor, causing mechanical asphyxia and death.
The suspect will remain in custody until at least October 19. The investigation is ongoing.
