Plane en route to New York returns to Tashkent due to sick Russian
It has become known about a plane flying from Uzbekistan that turned around en route.
The reason for this step was the illness of one of the passengers.
RIA Novosti journalists learned about this from the press service of Uzbekistan Airways.
It is noted that the Boeing 787-8 aircraft departed on schedule at 6:47 local time (4:47 Moscow time).
However, just a few dozen minutes later, at 7.35 (5.35 Moscow time), the flight returned to where it had departed from.
The reason for this was the poor health of one of the passengers, who turned out to be a Russian citizen born in 1967.
The crew decided to interrupt the flight and return the aircraft to the departure airport.
It is noted that the man's health is not in danger. He was given the necessary first aid right at the airport in Uzbekistan, after which he was hospitalized in a medical facility.
After this, the flight began to be prepared for the second time for the flight to New York.
