It has become known about a traffic accident involving a bus that occurred in the Sverdlovsk region.
A passenger vehicle collided with a fuel tanker, resulting in five people being injured.
RIA Novosti learned about this from Valery Gorelykh, head of the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to law enforcement officials, the incident occurred on the 93rd kilometer of the Yekaterinburg-Tyumen highway.
Bus #125, which was traveling on the route "Sukhoi Log-Bogdanovich", collided with a fuel tanker. The truck had previously emptied its tank and was driving on the highway without fuel.
Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident. Five people who were riding the bus were injured. One of the victims was a fifteen-year-old teenager.
A team of doctors arrived at the scene to provide assistance to the bus passengers.
The preliminary cause of the accident has been established. The collision could have been caused by the driver of the fuel tanker, who continued driving along the highway despite the red light.
