One person killed in hard landing of Mi-8 in Kazakhstan
As a result of the hard landing of the Mi-8 helicopter in Kazakhstan, there are one dead and injured.
One person died, two were injured and taken to hospital.
An Mi-8, presumably belonging to the Kazakh Ministry of Defense, made a hard landing near the village of Saryzhar in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan.
The official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic said: “One person received fatal injuries as a result of a hard landing of the Mi-8 in Kazakhstan.”
It is emphasized that at the time of the incident there were 3 people on board the helicopter.
One of the victims did not survive due to fatal injuries.
Two victims were taken to the regional center of Aktobe for assistance.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations sent forces and resources from the Department of Emergency Situations to the scene of the incident.
The helicopter crashed in western Kazakhstan, caught fire and burned to the ground.
Five units of equipment and 23 personnel extinguished the fire at the scene of the incident.
