One person died in a massive road accident in the Leningrad region
It has become known about a massive road accident that occurred in the Leningrad region.
Unfortunately, the accident did not go without casualties.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported this on its official Telegram channel.
It is noted that the collision of cars occurred on July 5 at the 95th kilometer of the Novopriozerskoye Highway in the Priozersk District of the Leningrad Region.
At least five vehicles were involved in the traffic accident while they were driving on the highway at the time of the incident.
A girl died in the collision. Neither the identity nor the age of the person killed in the accident has yet been established.
In addition to the deceased, there are also three injured. Details of their health and the nature of their injuries are not specified.
Law enforcement officers have arrived at the scene. They are investigating the causes that led to the fatal accident, as well as other circumstances of the fatal incident.
Earlier it was reported that six cars collided on a highway in the Krasnodar region.
