Number of injured in accident involving bus and truck near Krasnodar rises to 29
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnodar Region reported that the number of people injured in the accident involving a bus and a truck near Krasnodar has grown to 29 people.
It is indicated that the relevant information is provided as of 22:12 Moscow time.
The official Telegram channel of the regional headquarters of the Russian Federation explains: “Children are also among the wounded.”
As previously stated, the MAN truck drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a passenger bus.
Both vehicles were reported to have caught fire as a result of the accident.
Details of the incident
The accident involving the above-mentioned vehicles occurred in the village of Starokorsunskaya.
It was explained that the passenger bus was transporting fans of the handball club "Viktor". In total, there were 49 people inside the vehicle.
The fire that broke out as a result of the accident was extinguished by 21:25 Moscow time. The local prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
