Music teacher in the Urals sentenced to 23 years in prison for violence against children
The Sverdlovsk Regional Court has sentenced a music teacher for committing violent acts against children.
It is emphasized that the court sentenced the accused to imprisonment in a maximum security penal colony for 23 years.
It is stated that the defendant committed violence against 22 children, as reported by the official Telegram channel of the Sverdlovsk Regional Court.
In addition, the court ordered that the detainee be prohibited from engaging in teaching activities.
Details of the crime
It is reported that the convicted person will be required to pay the victims 8 million rubles as compensation for moral damages.
The regional prosecutor's office, in turn, pointed out the fact that the defendant was guilty under multiple criminal charges.
The defendant carried out his criminal activities in the summer of 2018, as well as in the period from March 2021 to December 2022.
The state prosecution requested a 24-year prison sentence for the detainee.
