More than 100 people rescued from flooded areas in Transbaikalia
Not long ago, heavy precipitation led to unpleasant consequences in Transbaikalia – flooding.
In this case, we are talking about the evacuation of people.
In the Zabaikalsky Krai, over 100 residents who faced the consequences of the flood were evacuated. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region.
It is noted that the flooding affected the city of Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky and the urban-type settlement of Orlovsky.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as a result of the flood in Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky on Saturday, 21 houses and 48 garden plots were flooded. The number of people rescued was 81.
It was also noted there that the flooding also affected the village of Orlovsky. The number of flooded houses was 21.
Due to flooding, specialists had to pump out water and carry out rescue operations for citizens.
It is added that some of the victims are currently in temporary accommodation centres.
