Investigative Committee to inspect Omsk school with crumbling tiles and mice
Parents of students at one of the schools in Omsk have raised the alarm over the deplorable state of the building.
Complaints about crumbling tiles in toilets, broken doors in bathrooms and mice in the premises have appeared on social networks.
Children independently catch rodents running around the school, the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Omsk Region emphasizes.
Investigators immediately began a preliminary investigation after information about violations emerged.
It is reported that the wall decoration and electrical wiring in the school are in a state of disrepair. If the information is confirmed, a criminal case may be opened under the article "negligence".
Rospotrebnadzor specialists have also joined the inspection. They will assess compliance with sanitary standards in the educational institution. If violations are detected, appropriate measures will be taken within the framework of the law.
