In the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, a minor fatally hit a child with a car

The press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Kabardino-Balkaria reported the details on its Telegram channel.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, July 30, in the rural settlement of Kuba-Taba. The teenager got behind the wheel of a GAZ-31105.
While driving through the village, the guy hit boys born in 2011 and 2012. They were riding electric scooters along the road.
The child, born in 2011, died from his injuries. The second boy was also injured but survived. He was taken to a local hospital.
Law enforcement officials are currently discussing the issue of initiating a criminal case. According to police, the person responsible for the accident is 16 years old.
Following the incident, investigators from Kabardino-Balkaria are conducting an investigation.
The circumstances of the incident are being established. A forensic medical examination has been ordered.
