In Omsk Region, former deputy minister of labor suspected of abuse of power
A former deputy minister of labor was detained in Omsk Oblast.
The official is suspected of abuse of office.
The press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Omsk Region reported this on its Telegram channel.
According to the department, this concerns the former Deputy Minister of Labor, Sergei Dobrykh, who may have illegally taken possession of an expensive car.
The suspect was taken into custody, and a criminal case was opened against him and against Dobrykh’s accomplices under the article on abuse of power.
Circumstances of the case
As the investigation found out, the defendant in the case, together with the director of the boarding house in Omsk, as well as with officials from the regional Ministry of Labor, spent 3.3 million budget money.
This amount was spent on the purchase of a Chinese Haval H9 car, which was eventually transferred to another department.
In fact, the vehicle was eventually seized by Sergei Dobrykh, which law enforcement agencies considered an abuse of power.
