In Kemerovo, a balcony collapsed along with the apartment owner
The woman went out onto the balcony of her apartment and a moment later fell down.
The incident occurred in Kemerovo in one of the apartment buildings located on Initiative Street.
The owner of the apartment on the second floor went out onto the balcony on July 22. At that moment, the balcony slab collapsed.
The woman survived but was injured. The 58-year-old owner of the apartment was hospitalized in a medical facility, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kemerovo Region reported on its Telegram channel.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the incident. Law enforcement officers are identifying the person who provided services that did not meet safety requirements.
Employees of the regional prosecutor's office have also joined the work. They are checking the compliance with the requirements of housing legislation.
