In Kamchatka, 11 students were poisoned in a school cafeteria
A case of mass poisoning of children has been registered in Kamchatka.
The situation was commented on by the Governor of Kamchatka Krai Vladimir Solodov in his Telegram channel.
He said that eleven people, students from a school in the city of Yelizovo, were hospitalized in the regional hospital.
Solodov emphasized that the children's condition is currently stable. Their lives and health are not in danger.
The head of the region ordered the necessary inspections to be carried out and heard reports from education, healthcare, and control agencies.
According to the findings of Rospotrebnadzor, the source of poisoning of schoolchildren is salmonella.
Solodov said that poor quality products from one of the food suppliers were discovered.
Investigators and control groups are currently working at the site.
Based on the results of the inspection, comprehensive measures will be taken in terms of responsibility and preventing the recurrence of similar incidents in the future.
