The Khabarovsk Krai Prosecutor's Office has released information that the head physician of a local hospital in the region was receiving bribes.
The accused is said to have engaged in bribery by providing information about deceased patients.
Law enforcement officials noted: “The man had been engaged in illegal activity for six months,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
It is emphasized that the information that the accused passed on to third parties was confidential.
In particular, the hospital’s head physician was caught disclosing personal information about citizens who died in the medical facility.
The defendant also disseminated information about the relatives of the deceased and their close persons.
As law enforcement officials explained, all of the above materials were contained in the medical records of the deceased.
It is indicated that in total the perpetrator received 39 thousand Russian rubles for his actions.
