Former Senator Arashukov faces charges for bribing an FSIN employee
Former senator Rauf Arashukov, who is serving a life sentence, was caught taking a bribe from an FSIN employee.
He became a defendant in a criminal case for bribery of an employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Orenburg region.
Arashukov transferred at least 3 million rubles through a lawyer for privileged conditions of detention, writes the Investigative Committee's Telegram channel.
The convicted ex-senator, who is in IK-6, transferred 3 million rubles through his lawyer to an employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Orenburg Region.
He wanted to receive for himself, in excess of the established limits, phone calls, visits, packages, and the opportunity to choose the place and type of work in the correctional facility.
When transferring a large bribe, Arashukov acted through his lawyer.
A prison employee reported the fact of bribery to law enforcement agencies.
