Forecasters from the Phobos weather center reported that a dust storm has hit some Russian regions.
It is emphasized that the elements mostly affected the southern regions of the country.
The official website of Phobos reports: “The Rostov and Astrakhan regions, as well as the south of the Volgograd region, were affected.”
Meteorologists added that sandstorms were also observed in Kalmykia and Dagestan.
As the weather center explains, strong winds will rage until tomorrow.
It is indicated that the moving sand vortices will most likely reach certain regions of the Black Earth Region and Central Russia.
The agency's forecasters reported: "The storm could carry fragments of sand dust as far as the Kursk, Belgorod, Oryol, Lipetsk, Ryazan and Nizhny Novgorod regions."
It is also possible that a difficult meteorological situation may be observed in Donbass, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
