Finnish border guards arrest violator on Russian border
The Kainuu border detachment in Lapland has released information that an offender has been arrested on the border with Russia.
It is emphasized that the detained person declared the need to provide him with asylum.
Finnish news agency Yle writes: "The incident took place on August 22. The suspect in the border violation was arrested for questioning."
It is indicated that the incident was recorded in the Kuhmo region.
