Details of the case of former Defense Ministry personnel officer Kuznetsov revealed

The Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) has revealed details of the case of Lieutenant General Yuri Kuznetsov.

The former head of the Main Personnel Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense received a bribe in the form of real estate.

A defendant in the Kuznetsov case transferred a plot of land and a house to a high-ranking officer, TASS reports.

We are talking about real estate in Krasnodar. The value of the transferred property is estimated at 30.5 million rubles.

Kuznetsov received a plot of land and a house from an entrepreneur who worked in the hotel business.

In exchange for this, government contracts worth a total of more than 372 million rubles were concluded with the defendant’s company.

Lieutenant General Kuznetsov is being held in a pretrial detention facility. The court has remanded the officer in custody until October 12.

Earlier, searches were conducted in the Moscow region home of former State Duma deputy Valery Draganov.
