The daughter-in-law of the general director of Orgenergostroy, Elguja Kokosadze, went to court with a request to return her jewelry.
The daughter-in-law of Kokosadze, who is accused of giving a bribe of 32.6 million rubles to Rosatom top manager Gennady Sakharov, asked to lift the arrest on expensive jewelry.
The court has begun to consider a criminal case on bribery, RIA Novosti emphasizes.
At the same time, Kokosadze’s daughter-in-law filed a petition with the Meshchansky Court of Moscow asking for the return of the confiscated jewelry.
The judge explained that the seizure was imposed on the defendant's property.
Gennady Sakharov, who previously held a high position in Rosatom, did not admit his guilt and is in pretrial detention.
Elguj Kokosadze agreed with the charges and is under a written undertaking not to leave the city.
The trial will continue on December 19. The daughter-in-law's petition has been added to the case file, but remains pending because she is not a party to the process.
