Cryptex and UAPS creators found with helicopter, Cybertruck and stacks of cash

The Russian Investigative Committee has revealed details about the activities of the founders of the Cryptex cryptocurrency exchange and the anonymous payment system UAPS.

During the searches, numerous bundles of cash, a helicopter, a Cybertruck, Tesla and Mercedes cars were found in the possession of members of the criminal group.

In total, almost 100 people are involved in the case, the Investigative Committee Telegram channel reports.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the defendants' income from illegal operations in 2023 exceeded 3.5 billion rubles.

The total monetary turnover of the criminal community amounted to 112 billion rubles.

The accomplices in the case illegally exchanged currency and cryptocurrency, accepted cash, and sold bank cards.

Hackers and cybercriminals made up the bulk of their clients.

They used Cryptex's services to launder their criminal proceeds.
